Verde — Sicilian Morning

Dawn over a Sicilian lemon grove. Cold dew on glossy leaves. This is citrus stripped of its sweetness — petitgrain leading, then a green almost-bitter heart of neroli and tomato leaf. The base is barely there: white musk and a thread of ambrette, like sun-warmed linen drying outside.
